CIPC (a member of the dtic) is committed to youth skills development by providing graduates with opportunities to gain work experience to complement their studies. Applicants are invited for an Internship Programme that would run for a period of 24 months. Interns will be placed in our Sunnyside Office (Pretoria).

Responsibilities

• Participating in the coordination and execution of routine maintenance tasks for building systems (e
• g
• , HVAC, electrical, and plumbing) to ensure seamless office operations
• Conducting health and safety inspections, risk assessments, and compliance checks to maintain a safe working environment in line with regulatory standards
• Assisting with space optimization and asset management, including inventory tracking, office layout planning, and resource allocation for CIPC's Sunnyside premises
• Supporting administrative functions such as vendor liaison, procurement of facilities supplies, and preparation of maintenance reports or logs
• Contributing to sustainability efforts, like energy monitoring, waste reduction initiatives, and basic facility audits to promote efficient resource use

Qualifications

• Unemployed South African citizen
• Aged 18-35 years
• Completed National Diploma or Degree in Building Construction Services, or Business Administration; or National Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management / Property Management
• No prior work experience
• No previous participation in an internship programme
• Higher education institution graduate with diploma/degree
